Wheel throwing taster: 2 hour (Evening or weekend)
The perfect course for a quick and fun introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. No previous experience is necessary for this class, perfect for a refresher or if you have always wanted to try it out for yourself.
During the 2 hour class you will learn the fundamentals of throwing pots on the potter’s wheel; how to prepare clay, centre it and throw basic shapes. At the end of the session, you will choose 1 piece that we will trim and glaze for you in studio. Classes will be kept small with only 3 participants.
Piece’s will be ready for collection approx 4 weeks after your class.

We provide aprons but wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Not to worry, items can be posted via An Post Parcel for 10 euro.
